Ty Gibson Sermon: One Move (Righteousness By Faith)

Ty Gibson presenting a sermon entitled ‘One Move’ to the Annual Council meeting of the Seventh-day Adventist Church held in the US in 2012. This Ty Gibson sermon is one of my favorites.

Ty Gibson is the co-director of the Light Bearers ministry and pastor of Storyline SDA Church in Eugene, Oregon.

This sermon suggests that there is only one move that Christians need to take. And that move is the acceptance and presentation of the message of Righteousness by Faith. This message should be the core message in all our presentations and sermons.

It is only by uplifting the cross of Christ that men will be drawn to the savior. There is power in the cross of Christ. Just like the people who looked to the bronze serpent in the wilderness were healed from viper bites during the exodus from Egypt to Canaan so now must we urge people to look to the cross for salvation.

Let us join Paul in saying may i never boast except in the cross of Christ. He is our only hope in this life and in the life to come. He is everything.

  1. Much the same as the general population who looked to the bronze serpent in the wild were mended from snake chomps amid the mass migration from Egypt to Canaan so now should we encourage individuals to seek the cross for salvation. Finn Balor wrestler Jacket
